Repost: Hear The Word

Over the course of the  next week, I'll be reposting some of the daily posts that I thought might inspire you. Maybe you've read them already, maybe they will be new. Anyway, here is one from last December that talks about hearing the Word of the Lord. This verse reads pretty relevant to our life today, what do you think?

Hear the word of the Lord, you Israelites, because the Lord has a charge to bring against you who live in the land: There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
-Hosea 4:1-2 (NIV)

When I opened my Bible today, this is where it landed, and I was blown away. Take a look aroud. Take a look at the headlines in the newspaper, or watch the news. Doesn't this show our time?

There is no faithfulness or love or acknowledgment for God any longer. As a result, those things written in verse 2 have come out. As followers of Jesus Christ, we must set the example, we must lead our nation back to the Lord Jesus Christ. But, it can only happen when we begin to acknowledge God, love God, and become faithful to Him. Are you willing to do those things? Do you hear the word of the Lord? Think About It.
