Our Inheritance

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

⁴ To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Have you ever thought about what you have in Christ? Many of us only look at what's around us. Even then we miss so much. But, have you ever, truly, thought about all we have because of Jesus? 

Peter writes, in verse 4, about what we have. "To an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you." As Christians, we have an inheritance, and that inheritance is waiting in Heaven for you and me. But, look at how Peter describes that inheritance: incorruptible, undefiled and that fadeth not away. Our inheritance, that is waiting for us in Heaven, can't be destroyed, can't be defiled and will not fade away. Those things can't be said about anything here on earth. Praise Him, today, for what we will have in Heaven. Think About It.
