The Perfect Gift

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Many of us will but up before the crack of dawn today to join others in the tradition of Black Friday. I will not be one of them. I'm always amazed, though, that people will be up and ready to shop at 4 am. Anyway, many gifts are purchased this day. And on December 26, many of those gifts will be returned. Paul writes about the ultimate gift, and it's a gift that will not be returned.

Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." The payment for our life of sin is death. A spiritual death and a physical death. But God provided a gift for us. The gift of eternal life. And that gift is available only through Jesus Christ. Will you accept this gift today? Think About It.
