Choose Today Who You Will Serve

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
-John 3:36 (King James Version)

These words of John the Baptist seem almost identical to the words spoken by Jesus to Nicodemus, in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Today's post will be short and simple, have you believed on Jesus, the Son of God? Both Jesus and John the Baptist teach us that if you believe on Jesus (that means submitting your life to Him), then you will inherit everlasting life (that means life forever with Jesus in the Kingdom of God). But, if you fail to believe on Jesus (meaning you fail to submit your life to Him), then the wrath of God (meaning everlasting life in Hell) will be awaiting you.

There is no middle ground, there is no "grey area." You're on one side of the fence, or the other. Joshua said, "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15). I implore you to choose today who you will serve. Will you serve the false gods of this world? Or will you serve the only true God, the creator of this world? For me, I'll repeat what Joshua said, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Think About It.
