No Fear With God

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
-Psalm 56:4 (KJV)

As we start this brand new day, is there any fear in your life? Many of us are fearful of what this day may bring. But, we read something of great comfort in Psalm 56.

Verse 4 says, "In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me." The end of this verse reveals why the first part of this verse is so important. "I will not fear what flesh can do unto me." In the NLT, this reads, "What can mere mortals do to me?" For the child of God, we have no need to fear what other people can do to us. We have no reason to fear that which we can see. Why? Because our trust is in God. Our trust is built upon His Word. Our trust is built upon the promises of God. And that trust will never be broken. God will never break a promise that He has made.

As you go through this day, don't fear. Why? Because you trust God because of the promises of His Word. Think About It.
