Praise Him!

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
-Psalm 107:8 (King James Version)

I remember a church I attended years ago while I lived in Florida. Sunday morning was the worship service, Sunday evening was the praise service. Today, most churches just have one service, a Sunday morning worship service. I think that praise is a lost art in our world today. But, praise must be part of our life. 

We read this in Psalm 107:8, "Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" The writer is wishing that we would offer praise to God for His goodness, and His wonderful works to us. I guess it would be fitting to understand what the word "praise" means. Praise means to glorify, to give thanks. We must give thanks to God for His goodness towards us. We must give thanks for the wonderful works He's done in our lives. When was the last time you gave thanks to God for His goodness and His work in your life? Think About It.
