Speak The Truth

But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head-Christ.
-Ephesians 4:15 (HCSB)

Two things stood out to me as I read that verse. The first being a vital part if the second. What is it? Let's dig in.

"But speaking the truth in love..." As Christians, lies and falsehood should not be part of our lives. They don't even deserve to be there. But for many of us, they are there. Paul teaches us to speak the truth. How? In love. There is no lies or falsehood in love.

The second part is "let us grow in every way" We must be growing in our faith and walk with Jesus. We must be growing in every way. If there are lies&  falsehood, then you are not growing.

Do you speak the truth? Are you growing? If not, then maybe you are not speaking the truth. Think About It.
